Xeomin® is an injectable treatment that diminishes the appearance of facial wrinkles by relaxing wrinkle-causing muscles in the face. The Xeomin® formula contains a purified form of botulinum toxin, which blocks the nerve signals that cause the treated muscles to contract. When Xeomin® is injected into the forehead muscles, wrinkles are reduced producing a more youthful, rested appearance. Since Xeomin® contains no added ingredients, it may be a suitable treatment for patients who are no longer achieving their desired results from Botox® or Dysport® or prefer a product with no added preservatives.
